The two photos above show F-16A number 112 as it would have appeared during
the 1982 Lebanon war, in First Jet squadron service. Aircraft 112 has the
distinction of being the first F-16 in the world to down an enemy aircraft.
It downed a Syrian Mil-8 helicopter using its canon. This aircraft went on
to attain a total of 4 kills and is now in service with the Negev squadron.
The model is a 1/72 scale Hasegawa kit with weapons taken from Hasegawa's
weapon sets. Decals are from Isradecal sheet IAF-15 for IAF F-16A's and B's
in 1/72 scale.
