Block 40 F-16C Barak, #539 of the 105 Scorpion Squadron.
The base kit used was Hasegawa's 1/48 F-16N Top Gun kit (no. V7).
Airwaves and Eagle Designs conversion sets were used to convert it to an
IAF Block 40 F-16C. Styrene was used to make the drag chute housing,
as well as some of the other add on details. GBU-16 LGBs and the pave
penny pod are from the parts box. Paints used were Humbrol #121
(33531) and #90 (34424), and Model Master 30219 and 36375. The
markings are from Aero Master's IAF F-16C/D decal sheet. A thinner
wash and pastels were used to weather the model a bit. |
